I designed this folding shelf for iide the Murphy bed in our guest room, so that our guests would have a place to put their phone, alarm clock, or book, but it would fold out of the way when we put away the bed. I've printed it in pearl white to go with our decor, and then in red and black to match the charging cables I mounted next to them. The screw holes are designed to perfectly fit a #8x3/4" flat-head Phillips wood screw, Crown Bolt #20952. I like to print it high-resolution so the taper of the shelf (and supports I guess) are as smooth as possible. But lower resolution shouldn't affect the function. The dimeio are the maximum that my little mod-t can print (shelf and supports separately). The shelf itself is 136mm W x 97mm D x 6mm H. Italled, the overall dimeio (folded) are 147mm H x 148mm W x 26mm D. Folded out (flipped down), it's 130mm D. I expect it would scale, except for the screw holes. To mount it, I hold the whole thing up to see where I want it (and level), then mark the position of one support. Put the other pieces down and mount that support. Put the shelf pegs into both supports and place the unmounted support agait the wall so that both pegs are fully ierted and the shelf just clea the support edges. Make sure the tops of the supports aren't tilted inward such that the shelf can't flip fully up. Mount that support (keeping the shelf in there; it can't be ierted after both supports are mounted!).
